The Best Artist title competition celebrates dancers who excel in a specific style. Dancers compete for a Best Artist title by showcasing their skill, artistry, and passion through both a finals solo performance and a style-specific audition class.
Finals Solo (50%) + Audition Class (50%) = Best Artist Title
Once a dancer has performed their Finals Solo and participated in the Audition Class, the Top 10 and then Top 3 dancers in each division will be announced at the conclusion of the Artist of the Year Dance-Off.
The Top 3 dancers in each division will advance to the Gala, where the Best Artist Winners will be announced.
Each style is treated as its own spotlight event, created to honor dancers who bring a deep connection and voice to their chosen form. This is a space to be recognized not just as a great dancer but as a true artist in their element.
